A company from Slovakia took 10 years to develop the commercial car AeroMobil, which uses the Rotax 912 ULS engine to refuel at regular car stations. Filling a box of petrol can fly 430 miles, and as a car you can exercise 310 miles.
Available in a lightweight steel construction and carbon coating, the AeroMobil weighs 992 pounds and has a takeoff speed of 90 mph. When deployed as an aircraft, it is 26 feet wide and 19 feet long and can accommodate two people. When converted to a car, its wings are retracted and can be parked normally in a parking space.
