一键打个“飞的”，穿越城市出行，或许不再是痴人说梦。10月22日，在新加坡举行的世界智能交通大会上，吉利战略投资的飞行汽车Volocopter成功飞越新加坡滨海湾。记者10月24日从吉利控股杭州总部获悉，吉利控股和Volocopter将在中国成立合资公司，致力于将全球领先的城市空中出行解决方案引入中国，吉利将负责Volocopter产品在中国的生产和市场推广。
今年9月9日，德国城市空中出行公司Volocopter宣布，完成C轮首轮5000万元的融资，吉利控股集团领投，戴姆勒等公司参与投资。本轮融资完成后，双方各自占股10%。这是继高端出行、smart品牌后，吉利和戴姆勒合作的第三个项目。
飞行汽车领域正在吸引大量资金进入。Volocopter首次公开载人飞行的视频更是让一众发烧友兴奋。
中国电动汽车百人会秘书长王贺武说，目前主要有4类公司进入这一领域，包括飞机制造商、汽车公司、互联网公司和初创公司。然而，大多数企业的飞行汽车还只停留于概念产品阶段。
飞行汽车何时能在中国飞起来？教育部长江学者特聘教授、清华大学通用航空技术研究中心主任张扬军认可飞行汽车商用化的未来，“飞行汽车将道路从地面拓展到低空，成为陆空一体的立体化交通，将颠覆传统交通出行和运输方式。它将有效解决交通拥堵问题，对社会、经济、安全和环境等方面产生重大影响。”在他看来，飞行汽车的大众化不是一两个产品的问题，也不仅仅是企业的事，还涉及国家层面的管理政策问题。
近年来，吉利控股逐步从汽车制造商向移动出行服务商转型，开始在空中领域布局。两年前，吉利控股收购美国Terrafugia飞行汽车公司时，吉利集团董事长李书福曾表态要让“汽车在天上飞这个梦想变为现实”。
